ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY

Miranda was appointed a Trustee of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in 2011, became Deputy Chair in 2016, and retired in October 2021 after leading the successful appointment of Shriti Vadera as the new Chair of the RSC Board.

Miranda’s role at the RSC has been to help members of the senior leadership team to fulfil the company’s creative, artistic and strategic objectives.

Her particular focus has been on encouraging and supporting the work of women at the RSC, whether as leaders, writers, directors or artists.

She has also been closely involved in the RSC’s groundbreaking work in digital performance and innovation, notably in The Tempest and in The Dream.

Miranda is the lead supporter of My Neighbour Totoro, which first opened at the Barbican in October 2022.

GARSINGTON OPERA

Miranda was appointed as a Trustee in 2010, and has served as Chair of the Board of Trustees since January 2023.

Miranda has been a major production supporter at Garsington over that period, and is particularly keen to support the work of women in opera.
